| Biography | I'm a 35 year-old former computer programmer who is nowadays working as a church musician in the Swedish church. I've participated 3 (or perhaps even 4) times before in HCSC, with mixed results: 2nd place as best, but most of the times I've been at the bottom. This particular song was written in 2005 during a school project in studio recording and all the instruments are recorded using 1 microphone (hence the bad drum sound). This is probably the only song I've ever written and recorded with HCSC in mind from the start, but I actually wish that I had re-recorded it later to be able to improve the sound quality. |
| Lyrics | Freedom - is the power in the world Freedom - the never-ending word You heard the sound It's the word of Freedom loose in the wind You feel the force Backing you up every step that you take The fears are there You feel shivers running down your spine Yet you move on With the power of it all Freedom - is the power in the world Freedom - the never-ending word The music's there You can hear it everywhere you go Feel it inside The music's begging you to let go The Freedom's yours Set the music free, or let it go The choice is yours You just have to make it through Freedom - is the power in the world Freedom - the never-ending word Freedom - is the power in the world Freedom - the never-ending word Freedom - is the power in the world Freedom - the never-ending word Freedom - just let the feeling grow Freedom - let the wind of Freedom blow |
